The Wild Willows is our land based enrichment program for children ages 3-7. We meet September - May (with summer options available) at the same East Sacramento location. Our teachers are highly trained, with backgrounds in early childhood development, outdoor learning, and the natural sciences.

We believe the learning of early childhood should focus on a child's understanding of their body and self, building relationships with peers and teachers, and learning about the world they live in. Our emergent curriculum is based on the seasons and children's interests. We also learn about the native and invasive plants, the birds and animals we share the parkway with, and how to care for ourselves and our wild world.

We have both drop off and parent participation options. Parent participation involves staying with your child one day per week to assist the teachers and requires a background check and additional training.​
