ADVENTURE CLUB

Join us for our very first adventure camp!
July 7th - July 11th 9am to 5pm

$450 for the week​

Summer camp in a van

We drive to different locations in the Sacramento Valley, the Sierras & Beyond. 

We might swim in an alpine lake, explore a cave, visit the redwoods, hunt for waterfalls, or take a trip to the beach. 

​ children should be able to hike 2-4 miles/day. Ability is more important than age!

Please bring a protein heavy lunch - All snacks (and lots of them!) provided.

Sample Day in the Life of an Adventure Camper

*9:00-9:30 Flexible Drop off at Glen Hall Park (Meet at the playground!)

*Load Up in the Adventure Camp cars!
*Drive to a beautiful nature spot. Sing songs & Play car games on the way
*arrive. Gear up and Safety Talk 

*Hike, Play, or Explore! Lunch break, then more exploring! 
*Return to cars to drive to a beautiful swim spot. Listen to stories or quiet music.
      *OR* If Staying in One Location: watercolors, hammock naps, stories.
*Swim time! Life Jackets Required in water with a current.

*Return to Glenn Hall Park.  Reflect on our day
*4:30-5:00 Play at the playground - flexible pickup!

Morning: Buttermilk Bend Trail Afternoon: Yuba Swim Spot
Morning: Grinding Rock State Park Afternoon: Lake Natomas
Morning: Lover's Leap (from Camp Sacramento) Afternoon: Paradise Beach
Full Day Adventure: Lake Tabeaud, Pt. Reyes, Muir Woods, Island Lake (Carr Feely)
Challenge Days: Bassi Falls, Floating Island/Cathedral Lakes
Friday Fun Days: Stinson Beach, Moaning Caverns
