Go on an Adventure in the Withywindle Van! On school breaks and holidays, we take kids exploring in the Sacramento Valley, The Sierras or The Bay. We might take a hike, chase waterfalls, swim in an alpine lake, explore caves, or go to the beach. Itinerary is decided based on weather and children's interests. 
 
Where we've been: American River Parkway, Dave Moore Nature Area, Buttermilk Bend Trail, Bassi Falls, Natural Bridges, and more!

Sample Itinerary: 
8:30-9:00 Meet at Glenn Hall Park, Safety Talk, Load Up!
9:00-10:00 Drive to a cool location. Play car games, listen to music, learn skills
10:00-12:00 hike to a cool nature area
12:00-2:00 Picnic lunch, swim, explore, hammock naps, science or art activites
2:00-4:00 Hike back to the trailhead
4:00-4:30 snacks, reflections & Pack Out!
4:30 -5:30 Return to Glenn Hall park. Audio book or stories in the car.
